Busy Christmas season marks Warsash Band's return

Sunday 19 December 2021

This Christmas season the Warsash Band have returned to the community spreading festive cheer.

The band made a debut performance at the Port Solent Christmas Festival performing Christmas favourites including It’s Beginning to Look a Like Christmas, Santa Baby and Let it Snow.

The Warsash Band also performed at the Christmas Market at Winchester. The band were centre stage at the busy market and very much enjoyed the atmosphere and being able to perform to such a large audience. We received excellent feedback from the event organisers who have invited us back next year. We also raised over £100 for band funds.

Band Events Secretary, James Wilson said:

"We have had a really successful Christmas season this year and it has been great to perform in the local community after two years off. We would like to thank the event organisers of Port Solent and Winchester for inviting us and helping bring live music back."

Following a two year break as a result of the pandemic the Warsash Band were pleased to host their traditional Christmas concerts on the 17th and 18th December. The band were delighted to welcome back vocalist Kelly who wowed audiences with her classy vocals. Everyone agreed that having the

Christmas concerts back was brilliant after a year without. It was the perfect way to start Christmas!
