Spring concert 2020 cancelled due to covid-19

The Warsash Band has announced with great sadness that its joint concert with the Solent Singers, due to take place on 28th March 2020, has been cancelled.

The decision was made due to concerns around the covid-19 outbreak. The band's committee have been carefully watching recent developments and the most recent advice confirms its position.

Anyone who has already purchased tickets for the concert is advised to return them to the place you bought them for a full refund. Any questions or comments can be sent to enquiries@warsashband.co.uk.

The committee's chair, Anne Saxton, and the Musical Director, Jon Audain, released a joint statement, saying:

"In our hearts we would have loved to continue with the concert, however our primary concern is the wellbeing of our players, audience and guests, many of whom may be particularly vulnerable. It is for the safety of the Warsash Band family, friends and community that we take this step.

"Thank you for your understanding and support. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and we look forward to seeing you at our next concert."
